Inis Oírr, the most spectacularly beautiful of the Aran Islands in Galway Bay are once again hosting their annual Cleasathon-Inis Oírr events on Easter Saturday 15th April 2017. This year a new event is being offered with a 7k road/track run.
The regular and tough 10k road/track run will allow participants to measure their fitness in comparison to previous years or other 10k runs.
The 16k adventure is for those who want something more! This will surely do it as approx. a quarter of the course is rough seashore terrain.
The 7k, 10k & 16k routes have been specially selected to allow participants scenic views of the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Doolin, Clare coast, Inis Oírr Lighthouse, Inis Oírr Lake, O’ Brien’s Castle, Plassy Shipwreck & the other Aran islands in Galway Bay.
