The’ Run for Fun’ Clareen 10K is measured and certified by Athletics Association of Ireland and are the perfect target runs for runners who want to up their game. Runners, joggers walkers and crawlers are welcome. The 10k has a few hills and is perfect for runners who are looking for a challenge Clareen is centrally located in the midlands, just 7 kilometers from Birr Town Co Offaly, 14K from Roscrea, Co Tipperary. This route is set within the unique setting of St Kieran’s Historical Monastic Settlement and this road race has beautiful panoramic views of the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Entry includes Water Bottles, Timings for Runners, Cash prizes for 1, 2 and 3rd men and women runners. Spot Prizes will be given to happy runners/walkers on the day.
