The first annual Clarecastle Regatta Road Race.
On a very wet 10th July, 150 participants ran, walk and nearly had to swim in a downpour on Saturday afternoon. However it didn’t dampen the spirits as a thoroughly enjoyable race was had by all.
Brian Murphy and Michael Shannon crossed first for the men with Kevin Whyte shortly behind, while Lonan Hughes, Rachel Molloy and Noreen Mackey were the fastest ladies.
