Dublin Care to Run 5k

The Dublin Care to Run 5k will bring the successful Care to Run series to Dublin for the first time. All the proceeds of this event will go towards sustaining vital services and supports to family carers in Dublin city and county. The Run is licenced by the Athletics Association of Ireland and the course has been measured and certified. It will also be chip-timed. We are delighted to be working closely with Raheny Shamrocks, one of the top athletic clubs in the country, to launch this inaugural event. It will take place in St. Anne’s Park, Raheny on 15th November over a course frequently used by runners .Cash Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the Men’s and Women’s Categories. Spot prizes will also be available. Coming close on the heels of the Dublin City Marathon we are hoping that it will appeal in particular to those who wish to take up moderate exercise following the demands of completing that event. We will also welcome participation by family members seeking an enjoyable 5k run or walk in the scenic surroundings of the Park! The Care to Run Dublin will get underway at 11:00 a.m. sharp. Fee for online registration is 20 Euros. Registration on the day will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. fee 25 Euros.(Young people 16 and under can register for 15 Euros) The registration venue will be the coffee shop close to The Stables in the Park. . Each entrant will receive a tech t-shirt and a goody bag.
