CAN YOU SURVIVE THE CUT?

0

On Nov 20th just gone, 61 brave souls registered for a test of mental and physical strength and endurance like no other out there, of those 61, just 37 made it to the end. What was the test? It’s called the Selection Challenge and it is brought to you by Hellweek PT™. www.hellweekpt.com

You may have read all the books, watched films such as ‘Their finest hour’, ‘Silver Strand’, ‘G.I. Jane’ and perhaps more recently tapped into the Discovery Channel’s “Surviving the Cut” series! You’ve done your homework, and thought, ‘Hell, I can do that!’ – But; can you? Really?

Well if you have the courage to find out, the medium in which to test your self on that level exists here in Ireland since July 2010, setup by someone that went through it all, on three different Selection courses.

If you have ever fancied yourself of the same breed as a Special Forces soldier, Marine, SEAL, Commando or otherwise but have never had the opportunity to get a taste of being selected, then here’s that chance now!

Join the brotherhood (and sisterhood) of candidates from Classes 001 through to 007 and find out what they discovered on their journey in Hellweek PT™’s “Selection Challenge”.

Competitive Athletes, Housewives, Mothers, Fathers, Sons and Daughters, Gym Bunnies and Gung-ho individuals with and without aspirations of greatness have all learned just what it means to be elite. They all took a leap of faith and signed up to a challenge that far exceeds anyone’s expectations.

With no reward other than pride of achievement on offer, everyone goes head to head with SEAL, Commando and CSAR Selection to see just what they have inside, and surprise them selves! It lasts a mere four hours and no one hour is the same, with each evolution just as thrilling and challenging as the last.

Come and get a new edge for your next race, swim, marathon, triathlon, bike or climb, or just to get some extra shpunk to tackle life with more vigour! Whatever your reason for taking it on, you will walk away a new and better person.

Of course, there is no need to complete all four hours, there is no requirement to do so at all, it’s not about that! Whether you go one hour, two, three or four, or even 20 minutes, it’s all about stepping up and seeing just what you have got inside. There is no Pass, no Fail, there is no Winner, no Loser, there is only you and your Shipmates fighting to stay as long as you can, to the bitter end.

That said, there is a safety net, you can simply ring LT’s ship’s bell three times and you are free to go. But make no mistake, it’s not a bell of shame or anything else, it’s merely your safety net, but it’s also the one thing you can use to keep motivated and stay in the game! Resist ringing that bell at all costs and you are already there; just showing up to take the challenge on is half the battle, getting past the first hour is the biggest hurdle.

So at no point will you fail, you will walk away having met your self for the first time and learned some new skills for life, work, sport and a new way of life.

The only way to understand all of this is to join the other crew signed up to Class 008’s Ship’s Company taking on the challenge March 4th. Their aim is to join the band of Elites that range from mothers of three to 56 year old veterans giving their all on a Sunday morning to do battle with Sun, Sea, Sand and Air, oh and LT’s Ship’s Bell, to achieve what can only be experience to be understood!

Snap up one of the spots on Class 008 quick, already we have 30+ bookings and we haven’t even begun to sell the challenge at promotions around the country yet. March 2011 seen 100 sign up and we are aiming for 200 for March 2012. Between January 8th and February 20th we will be selling like fruitcakes and we are confident that all 200 spots will be sold out by Feb 21st, so get your spot now!

Picture your self standing on the beach amongst 200 bodies preparing to work together, in unison, in tandem, with grit, with heart, with soul and a deep engrained refusal to quit! Your voices will be heard the full stretch of County Meath’s coastline, like a thunder ringing out in their air, a god like echo that resonates;

“The only easy day, was yesterday…”
