The Burrenbeo Trust in conjunction with local event organisers Dolmen Sports are organising a 5k run on the 9th July 2011 in Ballyvaughan as an additional event to Tri the Burren (https://www.tritheburren.ie). So whether you want to run, jog, walk or stroll, this event is a perfect opportunity to get out into the Burren and raise money for the surrounding landscape.
The Burrenbeo Trust is Ireland’s premier landscape charity. It was set up to create a greater appreciation of the Burren, with both the local and visiting community. The work of the Trust is carried out through education, information provision, research, conservation and advocacy. This is carried out on a shoestring budget with the help of dedicated volunteers.
The ‘Burrenbeo 5K’ is a fundraiser for the Burrenbeo Trust and we encourage everyone to join in.

This will be a chip-timed race so having entered online you will still need to register on the day to collect your race number and timing chip.
