The run is scheduled for Saturday 4th September and will start and finish at the car park at Mac’s Pub, beside the entrance to the Bunratty Folk Park.
It will be a 10km race, starting at the Folk Park and finishing at the Shannon Shamrock Hotel and Leisure Centre.
The race will start in Bunratty Folk Park, and proceed along the Low Road, turning left onto the Hill Road (approx 15% gradient).
The route continues right, past the Co-Op, along the Old Newmarket Road. The route will turn at the mid-way point and return along the same route, finishing at the entrance to the Shannon Shamrocks Conference Centre.
Details on post-race entertainment and refreshments will be available closer to the race date.
It is open to Elite runners, fun runners and walkers.
Registration fee and sponsorship funds raised will go to aid Playing For Life, the Clare Crusaders and Crumlin Children’s Hospital
