Bunratty Shamrock Leisure Club are delighted to be associated with Tracy Piggott and her charity, Playing for Life, for which Bunratty 10k Road Race on September 5th 2009 is a part of the nation-wide ‘Run To Africa’ charity event.
Playing for Life is organising a series of these ‘Run to Africa’ races around the country throughout the summer, as a means of funding its work in Malawi, Tanzania and Kenya. It is intended to develop this initiative into the main annual fund-raising event for PFL in future years. Please see our website www.runtoafrica.org for more information on our work and on this and other ‘Run to Africa’ events.
They are inviting each GAA club in the Clare/Limerick area to enter a team of 10 runners, and to run the event in your team colours. The first team with 6 members across the finishing line in their club jerseys will win €300.
