Your say – spectator feedback from Brother Ireland Morton Memorial fans:

‘Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Ireland. The highlight of my vacation was the Morton Memorial Meet. I am a track official so I know how hard it is to put on a good event. You and your staff did a great job.’

‘A short note to say a very big thank you for a wonderful evening on Friday 25th July 2008. My husband and I attended the meeting and thoroughly enjoyed the whole event. There was a great buzz around and the commentary was fantastic. It all made for a very exciting time. The sponsorship from Brother and all the other sponsors was a huge input. At the meeting in 1958, my husband’s father was present in the crowd, so it was a little bit of history for us also. The weather was very kind and everything went very smoothly, so once again thank you so much for a very memorable evening.’

‘We went to the events on Friday at Santry. The evening was so entertaining and we were extremely delighted that we made the journey. Can I send our congratulations to you all on a brilliant and entertaining evening enjoyed by all and especially the mile. I look forward to the next one!!’

‘Just a short email to say thank you. My family and I really enjoyed it. It was the first time that they were a Track and Field event and they really enjoyed it. Thank you again for the tickets and giving my children a chance to see what athletics can do for them.’

‘I think it’s the first time in twenty years that I remember a queue of people going into Morton Stadium – the event put the sparkle back into Irish athletics – well done!! ‘
