The Bogtrotters Marathon is a Full, Half and Relay Marathon on 23rd July 2011 traversing the beautiful bog landscape of east Co. Roscommon – not your bog-standard marathon! Its starts in the magnificent demesne of Strokestown Park at 10am and winds its way to Rooskey and back. A flat/undulating course with three sneaky hills – well-drained, largely on tarmacked roads, with one bog road and two grassy tracks. Runners/walkers of all abilities are welcome. Relay stages of 3.5, 4, 5, 6 & 8 miles.
