The Big Legenderry Swim 2014

Sunday 10th August at Creggan Country Park, Derry, Ireland Swim Distances: 750mtrs Swim: This is a great introduction to open water swimming events and is the equivalent to swimming 30 lengths of a 25m pool and is designed for anyone starting out in open water swimming. The estimated time for finishing this distance is around 20-30mins. This event is suitable for 12 years of age and up. Start Time: 11:00am Entry fee: £12.00 1500mtrs Swim: This is suitable for all swimming abilities and is the equivalent to swimming 60 lengths of a 25m pool. This will be a two lap swim of our course. Choose to swim breast stroke to take the beauty of the lake or get the head down and blast it out in a record time. Start Time: 12:00 Noon Entry Fee: £18.00 Iron Distance Swim 2.4 Miles: This is an ideal event for triathletes looking to extend their swimming distance or for the open water swimmers looking to push their own boundaries. This will be 5 laps of our swim course. This event is only suitable for anyone aged 16 or over.
