Eircom, the Gardai & Food A were the top three teams. Dry, sunny weather helped to keep both runners & spectators smiling with many personal bests achieved. The atmosphere was helped by the beautiful surroundings of the 2011 AA Hotel of the Year.
Few, if any races could compete with the fine food served afterwards in the Dr.Smurfit Clubhouse & every finisher received a crème egg as they completed their 10k.

This race in the 2006 Ryder Cup venue is one of 26 in the Business Houses Athletic Association (BHAA) calendar on road, track, beach and cross country.

Runners of all abilities are welcome from cheetahs to tortoises. Entry fee is €10 for BHAA members and €15 for all others. There are generally eighty prizes on offer, individual ones for the top three ladies and men plus the first three in each age category.

Comprehensive results, photos of the action and a video are available on www.bhaa.ie.

Race Organiser, Gerry Byrne has done an exceptional job in a short time in creating another landmark race on the BHAA fixture list.

The next race is the 5 mile run around RTE on Saturday April 30th.
