on Friday 4th April

Attendees at the press conference will include:
• Sonia O’Sullivan, Ireland’s greatest female athlete, former winner of the Great Ireland Run and now preparing for the Boston Marathon on April 21st ;
• Jo Pavey, Great Britain, 4th in the 10,000m at the 2007 World Championships, 5th in the 5,000m at the 2004 Olympic Games ;
• Benita Johnson, Australia, 11th in World Cross Country Championships 2008 and led the Australian team (coached by Sonia O’Sullivan) to bronze medals; World Cross Country Champion 2004; Australian and Oceania marathon (2:22:36) and 10,000m (30:37.68) record holder.
The Great Ireland Run takes place on Sunday 6th April in the Phoenix Park Dublin at 1:15 pm. Nearly 8,000 runners have registered for the event.
Driving note: Blanchardstown Fashion Retail Park is located beside the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre on its western side.
