The fifth annual Árainn Mhór Island 5K will take place on Saturday the 11th August 2011 starting at 1pm from Scoil Náisiúnta Leadhb Garbh and will finish at Ionad an Chrois Bhealaigh. The race is part of the Donegal Athletics Board Grand Prix sponsored by Adidas-Brian McCormick. Entry is €25 which includes a goodie bag and return ferry fare from Burtonport. All proceeds from the event go to CFFAM, a registered charity based on the island, CHY14463. Registration will take place at the old lifeboat station in Leadhb Garbh from 12.15pm.
