The 7th AnneValley 5 Mile Challenge Fancy a challenging? Why not enter the 7th Annual Anne Valley 5-mile Challenge, which will take place on Sat 9th February 2013 at 12pm in Dunhill, Co. Waterford.
This 5-miler takes in views of Dunhill Castle, the Anne Valley and Annestown Beach with a couple of hills thrown in for good measure! This race attracts over 400 runners annually and sees the course records being improved on year after year! Last year the race was won in a super time and new course record of 25:28 by Brian Murphy (who later in the year went on to win the first every Waterford Viking Marathon in June, and came 26th overall in the Dublin Marathon in October). The female course record was also broken on the day by Mags Kirwan Bolger in a time of 30:22.
