This is the first year for this run, its a beautiful course set in the coastal, picturesque and historically significant village of Annagassan dating back to the Vikings. The run starts at the edge of the fishing village along the coastal road up the hill and into the idyllic, rural setting of Salterstown, back along the coast within feet of the waters edge with the stunning backdrop of the Cooley and Mourne Mountains. Water stations along the way. A long flat straight brings you to the finish line in the centre of Annagassan Village. The course has been accuratley measured and promises to be one for the calender, parking and showers available at Naomh Fionnbarra GAA ground. The race is sponsored by Felda Heath Fitness and Leisure Centre Dundalk and is being run in conjunction with the Annagassan Viking Festival so bring the family along as the festival will be in full swing with lots of activites for all the family. The winners prize is 200 euro and thereafter the first female and male across the line will recieve a years free membership to Felda Health Fitness and Leisure Centre in Dundlak.
