Heritage Run at Newgrange returns for 2017
Now it it’s 2nd year the Rossin Rovers 5k Heritage Run/Walk is back with a bang!
Last August over 250 runners & walkers took the opportunity to experience our challenging course in the heart of The Boyne Valley. It’s a course which has it all; ups, downs and breathtaking scenery going directly passed the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Newgrange and beautiful views of the River Boyne.
This year we’ve launched our very own race website which will contain all the info you’ll need.

Last year’s event was won by Brian McCluskey of North East Runner in a time of 15′ 53. The first lady home was Laura Mathews, also of North East Runners in a time of 19′ 53 and the first Junior prize was taken by Fergus Crilly of Rathkenny AC who ran a time of 19′ 49.

Our 2nd Main Sponsor is Ladyrath Lane is a family run business just outside Wilkinstown, Co. Meath which hosts seasonal events at Halloween, Christmas, Easter and more. They have a petting farm, playground, there’s a cafe and much more!
After the event it’ll be back to Dolly Mitchell’s pub for tea, sandwiches and some of the best buns you’ll see!
