Following on from last year’s successful event, Killygarry GAA together with the charity Cavan Down Syndrome are organising a 5k & 10k Road Race, Fun Run & Walk on Sunday 7th June 2015 at 1pm in Cavan Town. The event is organised to raise funds for Club Developments at Killygarry GAA, and for the worthy cause of our associated charity Cavan Down Syndrome.
The run is open to everyone at all levels of running experience and welcomes walkers. It’s also about Community spirit and getting people active and into fitness, whilst raising awareness and funds for our associated charities.

The walk/run finishes at the Meadow View, Dublin Rd, Cavan with a music lorry creating an upbeat atmosphere and a large tent serving tea/coffees, sandwiches, an abundance of refreshments and the hugely popular free ice-cream for all participants and supporters.
The first 3 men and the first 3 women past the finish line will receive a prize for the 10k and the first 3 people for the 5k.
