

Brian Murphy (Crusaders AC) posted the fastest 400m time by an Irish athlete so far this season when he was second in the Brussels Grand Prix on Sunday. The race was won by American Manteo Mtchell in 46.34 with Murphy second in 46.41 for a new PB. His previous best was 46.89 in 2010.
Paul Hession (Athenry AC) won the 200m in a time of 20.81.
