3 Rock Triathlon Club will host a duathlon in Ashford, Co. Wicklow on Saturday the 17th of September 2011. This event is open to athletes of all abilites and has been sanctioned by Triathlon Ireland as the qualifying event for the 2012 ETU European Duathlon Championships. The duathlon will begin at 12 pm sharp and will comprise of the following format; 5km run, 20km bike, 5km run. Relay teams are welcome. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd placed male/female and 1st placed relay team. Refreshments will be provided after the race.
