from BHAA Saturday is obviously going to be a busy day for some. The 30th Anniversary celebration will take place in the evening and the half marathon will be on in the morning.
If you are not running in the half marathon, would you consider coming along to be a steward in the Phoenix Park? No race can function without an adequate number of stewards, even on roads that are partially closed. There will be a very large attendance at the race so safety is paramount.
The race starts at 10.00am but stewards will meet at the Pope’s Cross at 8.30am, before the roads close, for briefing and job allocation. I have been told that most people will be required to cover road junctions.
