3 Rock Triathlon Club will host a duathlon in Ashford, Co. Wicklow on Sunday the 3rd of April 2011. This event is open to athletes of all abilites and should be of particular interest to those looking for a suitable warm up for the European Duathlon Championship race taking place in Limerick on April 17th. The duathlon will begin at 1 pm sharp and will comprise of the following format; 5km run, 20km bike, 5km run. Relay teams are welcome. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd placed male/female and 1st placed relay team. Refreshments will be provided after the race.
