Course Record:
Seamus Power, Kilmurry-Ibrickane A.C. 1999 49:31 min.
Veronica Colleran, Ennis, 1990 57:50 min.
One of the oldest ten’s in the country, outside of Ballycotton. Continuing on the traditional 2nd Sunday in April for 2009, last year saw a total of 402 finishers. Winners were Seamus Power (51:08) and Madeline Dorney (63:24). The slightly undulating circuit through the Burren poses a fair but tough challenge, and is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy an early-season break. As this race is the final leg of the Munster Ten Mile Spring Classics we look forward to welcoming many new faces (and old) to the unique experience that is the Michael ( Sonny) Murphy Race.
