Athletics Ireland Press Release. Due to the present inclement weather across most the country, and the poor weather forecast for the weekend, the regrettable but necessary decision has been taken to postpone the 2010 Woodie’s National Walks Championships, due to held in Cork on Sunday December 5th, to a later date, most likely in early 2011.
No date has been set for the event, but a new date for the Championships will be announced as soon as is possible.
Athletics Ireland would like to apologise to all involved in the event for any inconvenience caused.
We look forward to staging an exciting National Walks Championships early in 2011.
