The Wings for Life World Run returns to Ireland bigger than ever. On May 8th, at 12pm local time, runners of all abilities, fun runners, and fanatics, young and old, will come together in Dún Laoghaire and join tens of thousands of runners from over 30 countries to start the race at the exact same time.
The Irish race will start in Dún Laoghaire town centre, which offers easy access via public transport as well as wheelchair-accessibility and limited on-site parking. Participants will then run south towards Bray and Greystones where they will eventually find themselves amongst the beautiful scenery of the Wicklow Mountains.
Runners taking part in the Irish Wings for Life World Run will therefore not only experience Dún Laoghaire’s historical buildings and beautiful coastal views but they will also enjoy the scenic landscape along the East Coast of Ireland heading towards Co. Wicklow.
