The 3rd annual DEBRA Ireland Wicklow Mountains Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 20th March, 2011. Due to a large number of enquiries we have decided to open registration early for next years event. There are no changes to the route from but there will be one start for runners instead of two and a separate start for walkers. Route is now available on the DEBRA Ireland website.
Your support last year was invaluable to the charity. Over €35,000 was raised by participants which went directly towards funding services for patients and families including: EB Nurse Liaison Service, support to the EB clinics, EB Support Worker, equipment and respite holidays.
We hope you can join us again this year for what promises to be a challenging and rewarding day. Numbers for this event are limited, the 2010 event was a sell out and we are hoping that 2011 will be the same. So we would advise you to register early.
