Wicklow Gap Cycle Challenge – Kilometres for Kids – Crumlin Children’s Hospital

 The Wicklow Cycling challenge has two distance with two iconic climbs to choose from, the 66km Sally Gap challenge and the longer 100km Wicklow Gap challenge.

Sally Gap challenge
Distance: 66km

Starts and finishes in Marley Park. Cycling out to Enniskerry, before climbing up past Glencee, Lough Bray to the iconic Sally Gap. Descending along beside the source of the river Liffey to sleepy Brittas and down the embankment to Dublin.

Wicklow Gap challenge
Distance: 100km

Starts and finishes in Marley Park. Cycling out though Enniskerry to the road leading over the should of the Sugar Loaf. The route then continues slightly down to Roundwood, Annamoe and onto Glendalough before climbing up to the Wicklow Gap. Descending down towards Hollywood, then crossing over the Blessington lakes to Blessington. From here it’s the straight road back to Dublin through Brittas and down the embankment to Templeogue and Marley Park.
