None The West of Ireland Marathon Race Series 2009 consists of 14 full distance, 26.2 mile marathons run in various locations in the West of Ireland and will be an annual event. Why 14? We’ll tell you later. Organised by runireland.com, each marathon will be run over an accurately measured course. If you are interested in participating in any (or all) please fill in the form below and we will get back to you with further information. A minimum of 5 starters is required for any race to be officially recognised. These races are to be regarded as self-sufficient with one water drop at the half-way point. The start time will be 10am on Saturday and Sundays or 5pm on Friday events.
Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal and finishers certificate. Once a race has sufficient interest entry will open on www.runireland.com
