Runner/joggers/walkers of all abilities are invited again this year to take part in the 3rd annual running of the Tulla 10K. Our event takes in a flat scenic route around the shores of our local lake and also includes an enjoyable walk. Again this year Supervalu Tulla have kindly sponsored our prize money to the value of 1000euro which will be divided evenly amongst the male and female catogeries. James Sexton of Clare Althetics will officate the event with all times being accurately recorded for those who require. The event is organised to take place on Saturday 20th of August 20011, with registration starting at 3pm on the day and race time starting at 5pm sharp. Refreshments and food will be provided after the race and also water stations will be provided throughout the course. On site changing and shower facilites will also be provided. Fees for entry are 15 euro for all runners and 10 euro for walkers. Any monies raised will go towards our modern sporting facility in Cragg park and also a generous donation will be made to a local charity. Please come and support this worthy cause and an enjoyable day is promised.
