Fun Frolics and Fitness The Ultimate Boot Camp Challenge
Fun, frolics and fitness at Delaney’s Hurling & Football Club in aid of Chernobyl Children International
Aisling Moran finalist, ‘Do the Right Thing’ RTE volunteer challenge series and a team of volunteers launched ‘The Ultimate Boot Camp Challenge’ in aid of Chernobyl Children International today at Murphy’s Rock, Cork. The team is preparing for what promises to be a unique, fun sporting event at Delaney’s Hurling & Football Club on Saturday, 21 May 2011.
Aisling and a team of ex- Special Forces from Outdoor Physical Exercise will challenge teams of four to complete the ultimate obstacle course, testing all competitors’ mental and physical strength.
From 10am onwards on Saturday 21 May, competitive teams of 4 will be put through their paces, with excellent prizes for the fastest team. From 12pm the course is open to non-competitive teams. With an elitist event in the morning and less competitive event in the afternoon, there will be a challenge for even the faint-hearted! The day will also include great live music and barbeque.
Everyone from corporate teams to local Football, Soccer, Hurling and Rugby teams can challenge each other on neutral ground. The non-competitive option is ideal for a group of friends who wish to get out in the fresh air and enjoy a healthy, fun Saturday while supporting a good cause.
The many fun and testing challenges include obstacle crossings, a medi evacuation, a Suduko sandbag challenge, log runs, pyramid building with sandbags, river navigation in low level water and bog runs.
Take the ultimate challenge today and call Aisling on 086 828 9792 or sign up at www.runireland.com Competitive and non-competitive teams welcome. Tickets €25 per person. Registration closes on 17 May.
The Ultimate Bootcamp Challenge will help raise valuable funds for Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children International (CCI). The charity is a leading international children’s charity which continues to help children and their families in the affected regions of Chernobyl.
