CONEY ISLAND CHALLENGE RACE—Up and running for 2015
Run and walk on water for St Anne’s Parish Church, Strandhill!
The Coney Island Challenge will take place again this year on Saturday 17 October. Start time will be 2.00pm from Sligo Rugby Club, Strandhill.
All who register on-line will be be timed via chip and pin with an official race number and the first 300 registered will receive a special commemorative T-shirt.

Interest has been high in this year’s event and early booking is advised as there will be a cap of 500 athletes for this year’s event. Online registration is now open for the Coney Island Challenge Races.
Entry forms are also available in reception at VOYA Seaweed Baths, Strandhill, Co. Sligo or on line at this site below.
The event will be held on Saturday October 17th at 2:00pm, 2015. Both races and walk will go on to the Island the 10mile goes anti-clockwise around the island as far as Carter’s Strand. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to say that you ran/walked around the Famous Coney Island.
There will be chip and pin timing for all the athletes with a specially designed medal for all finishers. Last race last year’s race attracted over 550. The start and finish is at Sligo rugby club with changing facilities and refreshments after the race.
