COPE Galway and Enable Ireland are back to start off the spring running season with their Spring 5k Bay Relay. Due to the huge success of last year’s inaugural summer 5k Bay Relay a spring event has been organised to set people up for the Galway 5k series and the numerous half marathons that take place throughout May and June and also to inspire workmates, friends and family to run together.
The 5k Bay Relay, taking place on Thurs. 26th Apr. at 7.00pm, will follow the same format as last year with teams of 3 runners each running 5k from Southpark to Salthill and back.
The Summer Relays will take place on Thursday 26th July. Teams interested in doing the two 5k relay events can register for both events for €80 (a saving of €10).
