A sincere thanks to Run Ireland for helping to make this year’s event the best yet! Thank you also to pace-setter and measurer, Andrew Tolbet, for a great new course. Many thanks, as well, to Ian Egan from the Galway City Harriers who also assisted in so many ways to make it a great event. John Cunniffe of Redtag Timing expertly handled the clock on the day. Thank you also to the Galway Civil Defense Team, the Salthill Garda, Richard Donovan and everyone else that pitched in. Refreshment and sandwiches were kindly provided by Lohan’s Restaurant across the street.

Yasmin Reid from Christian Camp of the Arts organised this year’s race and did an excellent job! A good time was had by all.

Christian Camp of the Arts was awarded a medal by The Primary Times and was voted by parents one of the best camps in the West in 2010! You can find more info at www.christiancampofthearts.ie. With thanks in part to this fundraiser, our camp has not had to raise its fees in 10 years.
