5K Fun Run in Phoenix Park

Prizes: Available for winners and some great raffle prizes available too
Finish: Refreshments available to all participations
Parking: Available along main avenue and beside papal cross
Physio’s: Will be in attendance for rub downs following event
First Aid: Irish Red Cross
Race Adviser: James Nolan, former Irish Olympic 1500m athlete
Charity: One Family All proceeds raised through this event will be going directly to the charity. One Family is an Irish charity, based in Dublin, and working to improve the lives of children and adults who are living in one-parent families. Formerly known as ‘Cherish’, we work with some of the most marginalised families in Ireland. One Family provides a broad range of professional services in the areas of counselling, family well-being and parent mentoring as well as progression to training, education and employment. Today 1 in 8 people in Ireland are members of a one-parent family and such families are 4.5 times more likely to suffer poverty than other families – that might mean not being able to afford a hot meal every other day, or a parent and child living together in one room of a B&B.
