Dec 21st BORN2RUN Events are delighted to announce the launch of their RUN FOREST RUN Race series which as the name suggests is a series of 10K forest races. BORN2RUN’s motto is GREAT RACES IN GREAT PLACES and the four locations chosen for the forest races certainly are proving to be winners among the running fraternity.
The first of the four races will take place in Tollymore Forest Park which is in Bryansford Co. Down. Set in the foothills of the Mourne Mountains Tollymore is home to some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland. So scenic in fact, that it was chosen by makers of Game of Thrones as the setting for many of the forest scenes in the well renowned series. All of BORN2RUN’s races are set in beautiful locations and if you are looking for races with a difference then look no further.
Tollymore is very easy to access for anyone travelling from ‘south of the border’ as it’s only half an hour from Newry. All runners will receive a beautiful commemorative medal as well as a goody bag and post race refreshments.
