Hi all It is the Government Services 5 mile road race at Dunboyne, with a combined start at 8pm. Paul Gorey has sent me these details: Dunboyne Athletic Club is situated 11.5 miles from the GPO. 10 minutes from Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and 5 minutes from Kepak factory in Clonee.
From M50 take the Navan/Cavan road exit onto N3. Proceed along the N3 for about 3 miles and take the Clonee exit. Continue on for about 2.5 miles through Clonee Village and follow signs for Dunboyne. On reaching Dunboyne village take the first road on the left (Rooske Road) and proceed straight ahead for half a mile. There will be good signage in place to assist. Allow sufficient time to get to the race on time as there is some construction work underway in the area due to a new railway line project.
Prizes will be in the form of hamper type packages. I have no possibility of storing any prizes. Any uncollected prizes after the race will be distributed on the night to those remaining on site via a draw.
Entry fee for all is a recession-sensitive €10 regardless of members/non members.
