Rathcoole 2012 – Charity Walk Olympics. We will be attempting to break the current Guinnes World Record set in Rathcoole Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin 1n 2009, but surpassed since! It’s time to take it back!!! Walk a mile in Rathcoole Park to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society and the Rathcoole Athletic Club Running Track Fund. (All proceeds split equally). Starting 10:00 AM on Saturday 23 June, 2012 Including an "Olympic Torch Relay", involving Rathcoole Athletic Club, Donore Harriers Juvenile Squad and Rathcoole Boys FC. Entry is €10 online/ €10 on day. All kids activities are free when parents walk a mile. DIRECTIONS – Take N7 West t (EXIT 4) "Avoca Exit". Park is on left hand side adjacent Avoca building.
