
takes place at Ballyneale, Carrick on Suir on Friday 4th July 2008 @ 7:30 The event is “The Champion Kiely” 5 Km Roadrace and is organised by Carrick on Suir A.C.-Roadrunners. The race is held on a fast flat course and is a great circuit for a P.B. The race is a dedication to Tom Kiely, one of Irelands greatest Olympians, and the finish line is opposite his statue in the picturesque Co. Tipperary village.
The race is the second of the Four Race Summer Series (you must run 3 out of the 4 races to qualify).First man and woman receive e150 and there is a e100 bonus for the first person to beat the course record of 15:15. As usual, there is a spread of prizes over the usual catorogies.
