Pulse Triathlon Club is happy to announce that its annual sprint triathlon at Port Beach, Clogherhead, Co. Louth which has Vodafone National Series status is now open for entry. This race will also double up as Junior National Series race and a World / Euro Championship Qualifier race. This will add an additional element of excitement to what is already a fantastic race to be held on a flat, fast closed road and we are expecting a high demand once again.
The course consists of a 750m sea swim from the picturesque Port Beach followed by a 20km single loop cycle on full closed roads. From transition the 5k run will be an out and back course that will take competitors to the finish line back at Port Beach. No roundabouts or traffic lights, this is pure countryside bliss! So both suitable for the new comer to Triathlon and also the more experienced triathlete who is looking for a personal best.
