The 4th annual PREDA GALWAY 5k "Run for Freedom" takes place at 12noon on Saturday 21st March 2015 at the world-famous Ballybrit Racecourse in Galway. This year we have improved the route. The run will start in the main carpark, will take in 2 laps of the tarmac track around the racecourse and finish in front of the Grand Stand. It is chip timed, Jones counter measured and an AI permit, which is sponsored by Clare River Harriers, has been granted.
Race numbers may be collected between 10.00am and 11.30am on the day at the PREDA GALWAY 5k "Run for Freedom" Headquarters in Ballybrit Racecourse.
Late entries will be accepted on the morning of the race from 10.00am to 11.30am.
Children’s (Under 12) 1km fun run will be held at 11.30 sharp. Medals and snack bags for all finishers. Entries on the day from 10.00am – 11.00am. €2 per entrant.
