The Wild Boar Challenge is a one day multi event race.
3 member teams will work together to complete an Assault course on the grounds of Kanturk Rugby Club, followed by a 10km adventure race capturing cross country terrain and river crossings.
Entry is €150 per team, each team member will receive a Wild Boar Challenge goodie bag and be in with a chance to win Oakley gear.The event will start at 9am on Saturday July 19th. Registered teams will be assigned start times prior to the event.Event 1
100m car push, one person will have to steer the car while the other two pushEvent 2
100m Tyre Flip, Teams will have to flip a large tractor tyre out and back 50m. The tyre must be flipped end of end and cannot be rolled, time penalties will be incurred if done incorrectly!!Event 3
Obstacle course : Dunk tanks, Tire step, Balance bar, Crawl zone, High walls and Monkey bar section.Event 4
Bale shuttle, you and your team mates will have to get a stack of square bales from one end of the 50m run to the other, team work and strategy is a must here!Event 5
10km run : This is a tough on and off road run, where you will cross the river Blackwater on two occasions, encounter steep sections and a wooded section before returning to the club house
