The Race will be timed
The route is generally flat with an easy decline towards finish line. The route will take you into the lovely village of Moylough where you will see the spectacular statue of Enda Colleran, former Galway Footballing Hero. Next is past Moylough Castle and through the recently opened Golden Mile of Lakeview, ending the route passing Cloonoran Turlough and Golden Mile.
The race is registered with Athletics Ireland and Online registration is available NOW through www.runireland.com
Race Numbers will be available for Pick Up prior to race at Moylough Community Centre on Friday 12th (2pm – 7pm) Saturday 13th (10am – 2pm)
Registration will be accepted on the Morning of the Race from 10am at Moylough Community Centre. (Note change of Registration Venue from last year)
Race Start is in the village of Moylough near Moylough Church. Facilities At End of Race include:
- Showers and changing facilities available at Moylough Sportsfield
- Childrens Playground to entertain the children while race in progress
- Tennis Court
- Handball Ally available to occupy others while waiting on race goers to return
- Prizes & Light Refreshments will be given at the Moylough Community Centre after the Race
- The Forge Restaurant in the village will be open for meals and snacks all day
