The awards each year recognise and celebrate Ireland’s most successful athletes, coaches and officials. Deadline Friday 30th of September. In celebration of our heroes, the National Athletics Ireland Awards in association with Woodie’s DIY and Tipperary Crystal takes place on Saturday 12th of November in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry.
We are looking for nominations from Athletics Ireland members for club of the year and coach of the year. The award is open to clubs and coaches of all levels.
If you would like your club or coach to be considered please return your completed form by post to Athletics Ireland Unit 19, Northwood Court, Northwood Business Campus, Santry Dublin 9 or by email to awards@athleticsireland.ie no later than Friday 30th of September.
The clubs and coaches who have been shortlisted by the selection panel will be announced on Monday 17th of October. The prestigious Club of the Year and Coach of the Year award winners will be announced at the National Athletics Awards on Saturday 12th of November in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry.
This year’s event will take the format of a black tie gala dinner with a band and DJ to round the evening’s entertainment off after the presentation of awards. 2011, has been a very exciting and successful year for Irish Athletics and we hope that you and your club members will come along to celebrate those successes.
