Nolan’s – healthpro “Love you Life” Programme

Love your Life Programme in association with healthpro: Nutrition and Exercise Specialists Over the last few weeks healthpro: Nutrition and Exercise Specialists have been working hard with Nolan’s of Clontarf, Dublin 3 to bring to you (the public) our “Love your Life” Programme. This programme is designed to help boost our communities health and wellbeing by helping people to focus on their nutrition by providing them with tasty recipes, exercises and health points.

Since January 2013 kicked off all I am hearing about is how to lose weight quickly, cut calories and elminate food groups from your diet. As part of this programme we are going to explain to you how cutting calories and elminating food groups from your diet will slow your metabolism and reduce your performance in the long term.

When it comes to your dietary intake please remember that everybody is different and that "One man’s food is another man’s poison". There is no diet that fits all, we are all different and we require different nutritional requirements depending on what we do. So, before you embark on your training in 2013 check out your diet (nutritional intake), see if it is nutritionaly balanced and then plan your training. Always visit a registered dietitian when seeking advice re your diet for performance or for your health.
