This 5k is the first of 3 of the Mayo AC fit4life 5k summer series.
It is held in Castlebar and starts at Marion Row which is on Pound road, Castlebar.
This is a challenging enough course with some sticky hills but on a very nice country road.
The 3 races in the 5k series are being held over 3 tuesdays.
Castlebar fit4life 5k run is on Tuesday June 21st at 8pm sharp.
Ballinrobe fit4life 5k run is on Tuesday June 28th at 8pm sharp.
Claremorris fit4life 5k run is on Tuesday July 5th at 8pm sharp (followed by a barbeque)
This year the 5k summer series is limited to 250 participants and the €20 fee will cover the 3 runs and the barbeque.
There may be an opportunity to enter on the evening if the quota of 250 participants is not reached. The fee is a flat €20 and this entitles you to participate in all 3 and attend the barbeque if you so wish.
