Leitrim Sports Partnership are hosting the Lough Rynn Castle 10km Mini Marathon 2013 which will take place on Good Friday, March 29th at 6PM This 10km run, jog or walk takes you on a route through the secluded and stunning landscape around the shores of Lough Rynn and the magnificent Lough Rynn Castle. This journey is going to be breathtaking, so don’t miss this wonderful opportunity.
The route is a 10km run around the stunning grounds of Lough Rynn Estate in Mohill, and the race is AAI approved and so it is a perfect occasion for experienced runners, fun runners and walkers to get an official time with the use of the professional chip timing, which will be available on the day of the event.
All registered participants are encouraged to fundraise for local charities of their choice or local sports clubs or community groups, but it is not compulsory to raise funds.
All finishers of the event will receive a race medal, there will be prizes presented to the different category winners and refreshments will be served in the Hotel afterwards.
This is the third year for the Lough Rynn Castle 10k walk/run and Leitrim Sports Partnership will be encouraging runners, walkers and joggers of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to participate in this thrilling event.
