Longwood will be hosting its 3rd annual 5Km Road Race, Fun Run and Walk on Sunday 21st October 2011 at 3pm. The run is chip timed with prizes for male and female in Overall, O/40, O/50, and O/60 categories. There will also be a walker and juvenile prize. The event is organised by Longwood GAA (in aid of supporting our teams) and the local St Vincent de Paul. The course is right handed and relatively flat. Registration is available on-line at www.runireland.com or on the day from 1.30pm to 2.45pm at the Longwood GAA Clubhouse. Parking, Changing facilities and Showers are all available at the Clubhouse. Medals and Fancy Dress Spot Prizes. Refreshments and Live Music will take place in the Clubhouse after the event. Longwood is situated in the south of Co Meath approx 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre and 10 minutes from Trim Town.
