Welcome New Race Director The Lidl Run Kildare team are delighted to welcome our new Race Director, John Doran John’s sporting background includes Cross Country, Pentathlon and Gaelic Football. He holds National and Provincial Cross Country medals, he was a member of the National military pentathlon squad for 12 years and competed at a World Games in 1995 and several EU Championships. As a coach he has been trainer to the Kildare, Laois and Offaly Senior Football Squads, he coached the 1998 Leinster Champions & All Ireland finalists, Kildare and has won 6 Senior Club titles with Clubs in three Counties.
John is experienced in Sports Event Management and in the past he was a core member of the logistical and organisational teams for All Ireland and Leinster Schools Cross country events, The World Military Cross Country event held in Ireland in 2000 & The CISM World Boxing Championships in 2005.
Registrations are very active at the moment for our event on Sunday 27th April 2014
