Ireland’s largest one stop store for outdoor adventure & lifestyle wear saw a terrific turnout of aspiring runners to hear about Lizzy’s experiences, ambitions and top training tips on her exclusive visit.
The 53° North Lecture Series presented The North Face Athlete Lizzy Hawker, Ultra Distance and Endurance Runner. Lizzy’s list of achievements is a sight to behold, highlights of which include:
* Ultra run world record from Everest Base Camp to Kathmandu in just over 3 days
* Gold in the 100km World Championships
* First woman in The North Face 155km Ultra-Trail Tour du Mont Blanc
Lizzy Hawker was part of 53° North’s ongoing lecture series which has seen such athletic champions as surfer Laird Hamilton, and mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington visit Ireland.
