The Knocknarea Mountain Loop is an 8 mile run or walk around the historic “Hill of the Kings” in Strandhill, Co. Sligo. The inaugural event took place in 2012 and the run follows the same route up and around the mountain.
This is the perfect run for anyone taking part in the Warriors Run in August.
Date
The Run/Walk takes place on Sunday 14th August 2016. Run starts at 10.30 am. Walk starts at 10.00am.
Cost
Entry fees €15 for Run or €5 for Walk. Great fun, challenging and open to people of all abilities. Category prizes and refreshments in Strand Celtic clubhouse post race.
Registration
Register on the day from 9 – 10am at Sligo Enterprise Centre (Airport Business Park), Strandhill. Also able to register on Saturday the 13th August in Strand Celtic Clubhouse at Strandhill Community Park from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Parking
Parking is available in the main car park in Strandhill or at the Business Park at Sligo Airport.
Toilets
Toilets and shower facilities are available at Strand Celtic Clubhouse at Strandhill Community Park
All proceeds will be donated to Strand Celtic Football Club.
